Success Stories 2010 - Here's why we do what we do.

Rex (formerly Simon)
Update from his new home:
We renamed Simon. His new name is Rex! He is so happy and very intelligent!
He is already using the doggie door and has had no accidents. He is such a
playful little dog and very well behaved.
He is getting "sit" and "lay down". We are working on "stay" and so far he is
doing wonderful. Today he went to the groomer for a bath and the groomer
wanted to keep him! Rex and my other dog are getting a long well. We are very
excited and happy to have him in our home and as part of our family.
Ryder
Ryder has found his new home in Austin.
Bella (formerly Cinnamon)
Bella is a star !! - Tomorrow will be week 3 since we took her to ATA for initial physical for
heartworm -they said it would be about 3 weeks - they are swamped with heartworm
cases- so if i don't hear by week end i will be caling them-she is so much fun to have
around - she is so affectionate -sometimes we get down on her bed with her and
snuggle and she just sucks it up-I think her fav thing is chasing balls -- she has a whole
bunch scatterd all over--- her poor little stuffed lamb has seen better days - every once in
a while we catch Rosie sneaking off with it - or trying to sneak - it is hard with that baa
baa baa going all through the house! All 3 dogs are in my office right now sleeping away
--- and did I mention she can SNORE !!!!
Hana (formerly Ebony)
Otis
Toby
Update from her new home:
I just wanted to send you a little update on Hana. We had our first official "family hike"
together on Sunday...and it was fun. I think I mentioned it to you on the phone earlier
in the week, but I wanted to make sure you got to see the photo.
Everyone is doing well and Hana is such a joy! I believe she is still grieving her loss
of you and the pack, but I hope all our work with each other will soon make the
transition a successful one. I know it is going to take time to anchor a real bond, and
we are all in this for the long haul. ;o)
Hana looking so happy in her new home!

Quiggly is adopted!

Radar
Update from Radar's new home:
Radar and I are having a blast together! We've been jogging most
mornings and playing soccer/tennis at night. To my utter amazement
Radar can catch a soccer ball(youth sized) in his mouth while running
at full speed. It is now our preferred way play.
We went to the vet the first week and got him up to date on all his
shots/heart worm/flea meds. He and Ben are playing like buddies
and everything is going smoothly.
