June 12, 2006. An update from Eve's adopters:
"Eve has been doing okay. She is learning more about us and we are learning
more about her every day. As discussed before, she really enjoys her morning
speedwalk which gets longer every few days. Her second most-liked activity seems
to be riding with us, no matter where we go! She has become a pretty good watch
dog and is quickly learning to distinguish friends from strangers. She has
discovered her special spot in my workshop where she can watch me work and
maintain a check on our backyard at the same time."
Eve - This beautiful girl found the loving home that she deserves!
Cadan - This popular guy was adotped on June 4th by a young man
in Austin.
Here's an update from Cadan's adopter: "Just wanted to drop you a
line and say thanks. We love Cadan. He is really smart and coming
out of his shell more every day."
Update #2 January 5, 2007
We adopted Caden a while back. His new name is Dutch, and we
love him so much. He's such a gentle dog, I don't think he's met a
human he didn't like. He loves playing with his sister Nelly and
wrestling with his friend Huxley the bulldog. He loves ripping apart
stuffed animals and leaving the "guts" all over the floor. We take him
to Town Lake often to let him run freely around with lots of other
dogs. He also loves watching football and cheers on the New
Orleans Saints with his dad. Thank you for finding Dutch, we couldn't
imagine our lives without him. He will always have a home with us.
Warm Wishes,
Joyce & Mike

children to keep her company and couldn't be happier!
Kikyo, formerly Daisy - Kikyo (pronounced Keek 'yo) was adopted by Jill and Alisha from
Austin.
Here is an update from her adopters:
"Just wanted to let you know that Daisy is fabulous in adjusting to her new home and settling
in. We are having a great time enjoying one another, and she is doing well with the cats.
Thanks for all of your help!"
Samson - This handsome guy didn't last long in his foster home. Not even a week had
passed when he caught the eye of his new family. They drove down from San Antonio and it
was an instant bond! Samson found with great home that he deserves.

Jolie found her new home.
August 2, 2006. Here's an update from Jolie's adopters:
"Jolie is doing great!! She gets better every day. She is gaining
a lot of self-confidence as well as confidence in us. She is still a
little shy and timid, but we can already see an enormous
difference.
I have started her on basic obedience training at the house and
she is doing wonderful. She has perfected "down," still needs
some work on "sit" and "stay." She is doing excellent on leash
training.....she could teach if she wanted to!!!! It only took about
three or four days of really working on it and she got it down.
She is absolutely amazing with the baby as well. I think that she
believes it HER child. If the baby starts crying and we're not in
the same room, she will be the first one to her to see what is
going on. Take care and thank you for everything."

Raven - This smart little girl found the great home that she deserves.
July 29, 2006. Here's an update from Raven's adopters:
"Just wanted to let you know that Raven is doing fine. She has been very sweet and is
adjusting well to the family."
Aranea has been adopted.
Thor has been adopted.
November 11, 2006. Here is an update from Thor's adopters.
"I just wanted to give you a brief update on Thor. In a nutshell he is doing very well. I
am proud to say that he passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen test last week with flying
colors.
Thor has come a very long way since he came into our lives in mid-August. He has
relaxed tremendously and his personality has really blossomed. He still has a few of
his phobias but they are not as bad as they were. He is still going to daycare at
Exmoor two times a week, an event he appears to truly love. He gets so excited,
almost too excited, when we get near the kennel. The handlers at Exmoor have
noticed that Thor has grown emotionally over the last couple of months.
Overall, he has been a wonderful addition to our family. Candidly, it has been more
work than we expected but we are seeing the fruits of our labor with a fun, balanced
and well behaved dog.
Thank you again for the work that you do and giving us the chance to bring Thor into
our lives!
Warm regards,
Tres"
