Jack is currently in a foster home where he is learning to socialize with family members and
small children. His foster reports that he learns quickly and has a lot of love to give. He is
gentle when taking treats and has filled out nicely from being so underweight when first taken
into the shelter.
He will start heartworm treatment while in foster care and will be ready to adopt after that.
He has learned to sit on command and is currently practicing the stay and leave it command,
so he can learn how to properly greet visitors in the home. He is also already house trained.
All these are very different and new things for him since he was tied up in the backyard;
neglected and abused. He is bonding nicely with his fosters which means that he can bond
with a forever family as easily. He is a gorgeous color and is perfectly shaped. He enjoys
walks and has good prey drive for chasing ball and playing fetch.
